У присуству Њихових Краљевских Височанства Престолонаследника Александра и Принцезе Катарине, Одбор директора хуманитарне организације Лајфлајн Канада одржао је годишњи добротворни догађај у Торонту. Циљ манифестације је да се прикупе средства за куповину педијатријских ултразвучних уређаја који тренутно нису доступни у многим болницама у Србији, а хитно су потребни. Манифестација се одржава у хотелу Дон Вели Парквеј у Торонту.
Организатори се надају да ће ово прикупљање средстава подићи свест грађана и подстаћи их да великодушно дају и промовишу наставак интеракције између дијаспоре и Србије. Њихов циљ је да се прикупе средства за куповину што више ултразвучних уређаја, а свако ко је спреман може да помогне у овој мисији и осигура здравље и добробит за многу нашу новорођенчад и децу. Цена једног ултразвучног уређаја је 60.000,00 канадских долара.
Заједно са Лајфлајн организацијама широм света, Њихова Краљевска Височанства улажу велике напоре да наставе да пружају преко потребну помоћ Србији, а њихова достигнућа променила су многе животе.
Следећа станица Краљевског пара у хуманитарној мисији у Канади је Отава, где ће посетити Српску православну цркву Светог Стефана, као и дечју клинику у источном Онтарију.

ROYAL COUPLE IN TORONTO FOR LIFELINE CANADA FUNDRAISING FOR PEDIATRIC ULTRASOUNDS

In the presence of Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine Karadjordjevic, the Board of Directors of Lifeline Canada held their annual charity event in Toronto. The vision of the event was to raise funds in order to purchase pediatric ultrasounds which currently are not available in many hospitals and are urgently needed. The event took place at the Don Valley Parkway Hotel in Toronto.
The organizers are hoping that the fund raiser will serve both to enlighten and encourage the public to give generously and promote the continued interaction between the Diaspora and Serbia. Their goal is to raise funds to purchase as many ultrasounds as possible and everyone who is willing can help in this mission and insure the healthy wellbeing of many of our new born infants and children. The cost of each ultrasound is 60,000.00 Canadian dollars.
Together with Lifeline organizations worldwide, Their Royal Highnesses efforts and hard work continue to provide much needed help throughout Serbia and their achievements have been life changing.
The next stop of Their Royal Highnesses, in their humanitarian mission in Canada, is Ottawa, where they will be visiting St. Stefan Serbian Orthodox Church, as well as Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

Њихова  Краљевска Височанства Престолонаследник Александар и Принцеза Катарина били су гости Саборног храма Светог Саве у Милвокију, држава Висконсин у САД. Посету је организовао протојереј ставрофор Драган Велеушић.

Циљ целокупне краљевске посете је препознавање доприноса лидера српске заједнице, као и водећих непрофитних организација, као што је Лајфлајн Чикаго која је посвећена организовању и подршци напорима у циљу олакшања живота најугроженијим грађанима Србије.

Обилазак Средњег запада Сједињених Америчких Држава организовала је „Лајфлајн“ хуманитарна организација из Чикага која ради под патронатом ЊКВ Принцезе Катарине.

Током једнонедељне посете, Њихова Краљевска Височанства посетила су и српску православну цркву Раваница у Детроиту, Мичиген, као и Саборни Храм Светог Васкрсења и Академију „Свети Сава” у Чикагу. Краљевски пар биће и почасни гост Српске адвокатске коморе Америке у четвртак, такође у Чикагу.

У петак ће краљевски пар посетити музеј у српској православној цркви Свети Сава у Мерилвилу, Индиана, а присуствоваће и вечери са играчима голфа и гостима Првог хуманитарног голф турнира који спонзорише „Лајфлајн“ Чикаго.

У Милвокију, краљевски пар је обишао цркву и околину, а затим присуствовао и веома посећеном пријему у Свети Сава културном центру.

„Лајфлајн” Чикаго помаже сиромашнима већ више од 23 године, то је непрофитна организација у којој раде искључиво волонтери.

ROYAL COUPLE HOSTED IN MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine were the guests of the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral parish in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  The visit and reception were arranged by Cathedral Dean, Very Rev. Dragan Veleusic, and prominent members of the Serbian community.

The purpose of the entire Royal Visit was to recognize the contributions of Serbian community leaders, as well as leading nonprofit organizations, such as Lifeline Chicago committed to organizing and supporting relief efforts that reduce and relieve the suffering of the most disadvantaged and underserved populations in Serbia.

The Royal Midwest Tour is managed by the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization – Chicago office, operating under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine.

During their weeklong visit, Their Royal Highnesses were also received at St. Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Detroit, Michigan, and at the St. Sava Academy School and Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Chicago. They will be the honored guests of the Serbian Bar Association of America on Thursday, also in Chicago.

On Friday, the Royal Couple will visit the museum at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in Merrillville, Indiana, and attend dinner with golfers and guests following the First Charity Golf Outing sponsored by Lifeline-Chicago. The event is designed to raise awareness and gain support for the ongoing medical and humanitarian needs of the Serbian people.

In Milwaukee, the Royal Couple toured the cathedral and surrounding grounds prior to a well-attended dinner reception inside the St. Sava Cultural Center.

Lifeline Chicago has been serving the needy for over 23 years. They are a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation, staffed entirely by volunteers.

Njihova Kraljevska Visočanstva Prestolonaslednik Aleksandar i Princeza Katarina u prethodnim danima boravili su u Detroitu gde su učešćem u važnim međunarodnim humanitarnim događajima prikupili donacije za potrebe lečenja dece sa oštećenim sluhom iz Srbije.

Tokom boravka u Detroitu Njihova Kraljevska Visočanstva sastala su se sa brojnim ličnostima značajnim kada je u pitanju prikupljanje sredstava za građane naše države. Prestolonaslednik i Princeza posetili su Institut za sluh Mičigen, a sa Danijelom Meglerom, doktorom srpskog porekla i predsednikom organizacije „Porodično selo Holi“, razgovarali su i o daljim mogućnostima pomoći deci sa oštećenim sluhom, kako srpskoj tako i deci iz celog sveta. Takođe, Prestolonaslednik Aleksandar i Princeza Katarina posetili su bolnicu i „Holley“ centar sa gospođom Ardis Gardelom, predsednicom „Holley“ instituta. Tokom ove humanitarne misije, Njihova Kraljevska Visočanstva posetili su i srpsku pravoslavnu katedralu Ravanica u Detroitu, gde su između ostalog prisustvovali i ručku na kom je prikupljana pomoć za Lifeline organizaciju.

„Želim da zahvalim našim prijateljima iz Detroita koji su omogućili da se fondacija Lifeline bude deo ovako velikog projekta pomoći deci sa oštećenim sluhom. Naša borba se ovde ne završava, već ćemo u narednim danima posetiti humanitarne događaje i u drugim gradovima Sjedinjenih Američkih Država, ostvariti nove saradnje i nastaviti sa pružanjem pomoći srpskom narodu”, rekla je Princeza Katarina.

U julu prošle godine Princeza Katarina je organizovala putovanje i edukaciju za decu oštećenog sluha u kampu „The Holley Family village” u Detroitu. Ovo putovanje organizovala je Fondacija Princeze Katarine u saradnji sa doktorom Danijelom Meglerom, a na put su tada otišle dve vaspitačice škole za ostećene sluhom „Stefan Dečanski“ kao i sedmogodišnja devojčica koja pohađa ovu školu, u pratnji majke, dok su ovog leta na edukativni put otišla dva studenta u pratnji svojih predavača.

Njihova Kraljevska Visočanstva primili su i Barbara i Alfred Fišer III, kao i gospodin Entoni Soave, predsednik kompanije Soave Enterprises i aktivni učesnik aktivnosti za dobrobit zajednice Detroit, sa kojima su razgovarali o budućim filantropskim projektima.

ROYAL COUPLE IN DETROIT FOR CHARITY EVENTS

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine have been in Detroit where they participated in important international charity events that raised funds for the treatment of the hearing impaired children in Serbia.

During their stay in Detroit Their Royal Highnesses met with many people who are important for raising funds for the citizens of our country. The Crown Prince and Crown Princesses visited the Michigan Ear Institute, and talked about further opportunities to help children with hearing impairments, as well as Serbian children from around the world, with Dr. Daniel Megler, a physician of Serbian origin and the President of the organization “The Holley Family Village”. Also, Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine visited the hospital and the Holley center with Mrs. Ardis Gardella, the president of The Holley Institute. During this humanitarian mission, Their Royal Highnesses visited the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral Ravanica in Detroit where they were also having a fundraising lunch in aid of Lifeline organization.

“I wish to thank our friends from Detroit who helped Lifeline Humanitarian Foundation to be part of such a major project to help hearing impaired children. Our struggle does not end here, in the coming days we shall visit charity events in other cities of the United States, too, to achieve new cooperation and continue to provide assistance to the Serbian people”, said Princess Katherine.

In July last year HRH Crown Princess Katherine organized the travel and education for hearing impaired children in “The Holley Family village” camp in Detroit. This trip was organized by the Crown Princess Katherine Foundation in collaboration with Dr. Daniel Megler, and it was for the two kindergarten teachers of “Stefan Decanski” school for hearing  impaired children, as well as the seven-year-old student of this school, accompanied by her mother. This year the training is organized for two students accompanied by their lecturers.

Their Royal Highnesses were welcomed by Barbara and Alfred Fisher III, as well as by Mr. Anthony Soave, the president of Soave Enterprises and an active participant in the greater Detroit community, with whom they were discussing on further philanthropic projects.

Њихова Краљевска Височанства Престолонаследник Александар и Принцеза Катарина присуствовали су пријему у част Вука Јеремића, кандидата Републике Србије за генералног секретара Уједињаних нација, који је у Њујорку уприличио Александар Вучић, премијер Републике Србије.
Свечаност је одржана у просторијама Сталне мисије Републике Србије при Уједињеним нацијама у присуству Њ.Е. г-дина Ивице Дачића, министра спољних послова Србије, амбасадора Милана Милановића и других највиших званичника наше земље, угледних званица међу којима је била и г-ђа Кери Кенеди, кћерка Роберта Кенедија, а Престолонаследник Александар том приликом пожелео је српском кандидату срећу у избору за ову важну функцију у Уједињеним нацијама:
„За Србију је велика част што има кандидата за тако важну међународну функцију као што је генерални секретар УН. ROYAL COUPLE SUPPORTS VUK JEREMIC IN HIS UN SECRETARY GENERAL CANDIDACY

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine attended a reception in honor of Vuk Jeremic, the Serbian candidate for the UN Secretary General, which was organized in New York by Aleksandar Vucic, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia.
The ceremony was held in the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the United Nations in the presence of HE Mr Ivica Dacic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, the ambassador Milan Milanovic and other top officials of our country, and other distiguihed guests like Mrs Kerri Kennedy the daughter of the late Robert Kennedy, and Crown Prince Alexander this occasion wished the Serbian candidate good luck in the elections for this important United Nations function:
“It is a great honor for Serbia to have a candidate for such an important international post as the UN Secretary General. Entering the final selection has already been a significant success, and I wish to Mr. Jeremic to continue in the same spirit, good luck and success in the further process of the elections”, said HRH Crown Prince Alexander.

Њихова  Краљевска Височанства Престолонаследник Александар и Принцеза Катарина у друштву свога рођака Њ.К.В. Принца Михаила и његове веренице Љубице Љубисављевић и своје кћерке Алисон Ендрјуз били су домаћини изложбе „Уметност и вино“ у Белом Двору, у организацији Удружење винара Шумадије. Деветнаест сликара су изложили своја дела, а дванаест шумадијских винарија је представило своја вина. На отварању су били Њ.Е. г-ђа  Нариндер Чаухан, амбасадор Индије, Њ.Е. г-дин Мохамед Боугамра, амбасадор Туниса, Њ.Е. г-дин Абделах Зегур, амбасадор Марока, Њ.Е. г-дин Туфик Џабер амбасадор Либана, Њ.Е. г-дин Хари Ричард Џејмс Канду, амбасадор Индонезије, Њ.Е. г-дин Лазар Миркић, амбасадор Босне и Херцеговине, и Њ.Е. г-ђа Џулија Фини, амбасадорка Аустралије, представници дипломатског кора, саветодавних тела Круне и културног и јавног живота Београда и Србије.
Међу излагачима је своја вина представила и Краљевска винарија Задужбине Краља Петра I са Опленца, док су гостима кроз песму и игру културно уметничког друштва „Опленац“ били представљени традиција и обичаји Шумадије. Наступио је и џез квартет „Лесандрум“.

WHITE PALACE SUMADIJA WINE PROMOTION

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander, Crown Princess Katherine accompanied by their cousin HRH Prince Michael and his fiancée Ljubica Ljubisavljevic and Their Royal Highnesses daughter Alison Andrews hosted an exhibition Art & Wine this evening at the White Palace. The event was organized by the Association of Sumadija winemakers. Nineteen painters exhibited their artworks and twelve wineries from Sumadija region presented their wines. HE Mrs Narinder Chauhan, ambassador of India, HE Mr Mohamed Bougamra, ambassador of Tunisia, HE Mr Toufic Jaber, ambassador of Lebanon, HE Mr Harry Richard James Kandou, ambassador of Indonesia, HE Mr Lazar Mirkic, ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina and HE Mrs Julia Feeney, ambassador of Australia, members of the diplomatic corps, advisory bodies to the Crown, and representatives of public and cultural life of Belgrade and Serbia were among the guests.
The Royal Winery from the Foundation of King Peter I in Oplenac presented their wines, while the Folk Dance Ensemble “Oplenac” presented Sumadija’s traditional dances and customs. The jazz quartet “Lesandrum” also performed during the event.

Њихова Краљевска Височанства Престолонаследник Александар и Принцеза Катарина посетили су данас Основну школу у Горачићима код Гуче и уручили донацију за њено реновирање вредну 10.000 америчких долара и ранчеве са поклонима за све ђаке. Обећали су да ће за школу обезбедити и изолацију.

Њихова Краљевска Височанства посетили су Ужице истог дана где су испоручили десет специјалних електричних кревета са трансформаторима за одељење интензивне неге Опште болнице у Ужицу, чија је вредност 40.000 америчких долара. Такође су малим пацијентима у болници поделили поклоне.

Све ове вредне донације је обезбедила Хуманитарна организација Лајфлајн из Чикага под патронатом ЊКВ Принцезе Катарине у сарадњи са др. Даниелом Ђурашковићем Меглером и Тримедикс фондацијом.

CROWN PRINCE AND CROWN PRINCESS DELIVER DONATIONS TO GORACICI SCHOOL AND THE GENERAL HOSPITAL IN UZICE

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine visited today the elementary school in Goracici and delivered a donation for its renovation worth 10,000 US$ and backpacks with presents for all the pupils in the school. They have promised to provide this school with insulation for the building.

Their Royal Highnesses then delivered ten special electric beds with power transformers for the intensive care unit of the Uzice General Hospital, worth 40,000 US$. They gave beautiful presents to children treated at the hospital.

All the valuable donations were provided by Lifeline Humanitarian Organization Chicago whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine in cooperation with Dr. Daniel Djuraskovic Megler and Trimedix Foundation.
