Бели Двор, дом Краљевске породице, и ове године био је испуњен дечјим смехом и радошћу, јер су и ове године одржани божићни пријеми за више од 1.000 деце из Србије и Републике Српске. Њихова Краљевска Височанства, Престолонаследник Александар и Принцеза Катарина, поново су били домаћини овог традиционалног окупљања, омогућивши им да осете радост предстојећег Божића.

 

„Оно што ме сваке године обрадује јесте прилика да за Божић обрадујемо децу, да им покажемо да су вољена и да нису заборављена. Ово је време када љубав и саосећање треба да нам буду водиља, како бисмо овој дивној деци пружили пажњу и утеху. Наши божићни пријеми већ дуги низ година су део наше традиције, а осмех сваког детета подсећа нас зашто је важно да наставимо да помажемо онима којима је помоћ најпотребнија.

 

Захвална сам свим нашим пријатељима и донаторима који нам омогућавају да толиком броју деце обезбедимо поклоне и лепе успомене. Прилика да са децом проведемо време и да им пружимо осећај добродошлице, за мене је посебан благослов. Бели Двор и Краљевски Двор нису само наш дом, они су дом за све вас“, рекла је Принцеза Катарина, радујући се што након личне борбе и победе над канцером поново лично дочекује децу на божићним пријемима.

 

Деца без родитељског старања, деца са тешкоћама у интелектуалном развоју, као и социјално угрожена деца, узраста од једне до четрнаест година, из установа и удружења широм Србије и Републике Српске, имала су прилику да Божић обележе заједно са домаћинима и пријатељима Краљевске породице Србије, делећи дух овог великог хришћанског празника.

 

Догађајима су присуствовале чланице Управног одбора Хуманитарне организације Лајфлајн Чикаго, Дона М. Секулић и Мелани Север, као и Бети Румелиотис, сестра Принцезе Катарине.

 

„Божић је празник наде и моја искрена жеља је да се свако дете осећа заштићено, прихваћено и вољено. Заједно можемо да сачувамо дух даривања, јер нема већег дара од сазнања да сте некога обрадовали, нити веће радости од радости давања“, поручила је Принцеза Катарина.

 

Посебан тренутак пријема је лично уручење поклона деци, које су Престолонаследник Александар и Принцеза Катарина организовали уз помоћ бројних пријатеља. Божићни пријеми за децу традиција су коју су започели одмах по повратку у Србију 2001. године, а њени корени сежу још у време Краљевине и окупљања која су се некада организовала у дворима.

 

Пријеми су одржани захваљујући ангажовању Хуманитарне организације Лајфлајн Чикаго и њених добротвора, који су и ове године обезбедили хиљаде поклона за децу у Србији и Републици Српској, укључујући одећу, обућу, играчке, хигијенске пакете и школски прибор. Поклони су уручени током пријема, као и претходног дана, када је Принцеза Катарина, заједно са гостима из Чикага, посетила четири установе у Београду и лично поделила пакете.

 

Поред поклона, Лајфлајн Чикаго и Фондација Принцезе Катарине у Београду ове године организовали су и доставу хране за божићни ручак у домовима за децу, како би најмлађи могли да уживају у празничном оброку.

 

Значајан допринос дали су и ученици међународних школа у Београду који су заједно са својим наставницима учествовали у хуманитарној акцији „Деца помажу деци“ и донели поклоне у Двор, како би били уручени њиховим вршњацима током пријема.

 

Током дана одржана су два пријема на којима су деца уживала у поклонима, дружењу са Деда Мразом, програму аниматора ансамбла „Чигра“, као и музичком наступу Хора Дечјег културног центра Београда. Епископ Петар је деци приближио значај Божића и пренео им благослов Његове Светости Патријарха српског.

 

Ови божићни догађаји реализовани су уз подршку Хуманитарне организације Лајфлајн, са седиштем у Чикагу, чији је покровитељ Принцеза Катарина, и која већ годинама представља главну покретачку снагу ових пријема.

 

Догађај су подржали бројни донатори, међу којима су Амбасада Финске и Амбасада Грчке, компаније Coca-Cola HBC, Jaffa Crvenka, Балон Центар, Marbo Product д.о.о., Atlantic Štark, и Click for Serbia, пословна удружења AmCham, Британско-српска привредна комора и Хеленска пословна асоцијација Србије.

 

Посебна захвалност упућује се међународним школама у Београду: Brook Hill International School, International Primary School, Француској школи у Београду, Немачкој школи у Београду, Руској школи и The British International School of Belgrade.

MORE THAN 1,000 CHILDREN REJOICE AT CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE’S CHRISTMAS RECEPTIONS

Home of the Royal family of Serbia, the White Palace in Belgrade, was once again site of joyful children laughter and play, as HRH Crown Princess Katherine continues bringing joy to more than 1,000 children in need from Serbia and the Republic of Srpska for Christmas. TRH Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine hosted once again the traditional gathering for children in need, enabling them to feel the joy of upcoming holidays.

 

“What brings special warmth to my heart each year is the possibility to bring joy to children for Christmas, making it possible for them to know that they are loved and cared for. This is a time when love, compassion, and kindness should guide us more than ever, so that we can bring warmth and comfort to these beautiful children. For many years, our Christmas receptions have been a cherished tradition, and each child’s smile is a precious reminder of why we must continue helping those who need us most.

 

I am deeply grateful to all our friends, supporters, and donors who make it possible for us to provide gifts and warm memories to so many children. The opportunity to enjoy every possible moment with our beautiful young guests, to give them our love, to make them feel at home and for them to know they are not forgotten, is a special blessing. It is the gift of its own, the biggest gift in the whole world. The White Palace and the Royal Palace are not just our home, they are the home for all of you”, said HRH Crown Princess Katherine on this occasion, rejoicing that, after her own personal battle and victory over cancer, she is again personally greeting the children.

 

Children without parental care, children with difficulties in intellectual development, and socially vulnerable children, aged one to fourteen, from institutions and associations throughout Serbia and the Republic of Srpska, had the opportunity to rejoice Christmas together with Their Royal Highnesses and friends of the Royal family of Serbia, sharing the spirit of this beautiful Christian holiday.

 

The events were supported and held in presence of Ms. Donna M. Sekulich, Esq, and Mrs. Melanie Sever, members of the Board of Directors of Lifeline

 

Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, which is the main supporter of this traditional manifestation, making it possible to be held, and Mrs. Betty Roumeliotis, the Crown Princess’s Katherine sister.

 

“Christmas is a celebration of hope, and it is my sincere wish that every child feels valued, protected, and loved. Together, we can ensure that the spirit of giving remains alive in the hearts of all, as there is no greater gift in life, than knowing you have made a difference, and no greater joy, than the Joy of Giving”, concluded HRH Crown Princess Katherine.

 

The highlight of these holiday events is the moment when Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine give gifts personally to the young ones, together with numerous friends. Christmas receptions for children in need is a tradition that Their Royal Highnesses started immediately after their return to Serbia in 2001, but it has its roots way back in the Karadjordjevic tradition, and in the similar gatherings at the Palace that were done during the time of the Kingdom.

 

The receptions were made possible thanks to great efforts of the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago and its benefactors who enabled once again for children in need in Serbia and the Republic of Srpska to feel the joy and love of Christmas. Thousands of gifts that were provided by generous donors of Lifeline Chicago, including clothing, shoes, toys, hygiene bags, and school supplies, were delivered today, but also yesterday, when Crown Princess Katherine visited four institutions in Belgrade together with guests from Chicago, and delivered the designated presents herself.

 

In addition to the packages, Lifeline Chicago and the Crown Princess Katherine Foundation in Belgrade this year as well organized the delivery of food for Christmas dinner for children in Homes, so that the youngest could enjoy a nice holiday meal.

 

Significant contribution was also made by children from Belgrade international schools who, together with their teachers, have joined the charity campaign “Children helping children” and brought gifts to the Palace, to be given to their peers in need on these receptions.

 

During the day, two receptions were held where children enjoyed wonderful gifts and spent time with Santa Claus, the animators from the ensemble “Cigra”, as well as a music program by the Children’s Cultural Center of Belgrade Choir. His Grace Bishop Peter explained the meaning of Christmas and its significance to the children and delivered them the blessing of His Holiness the Patriarch.

 

This wonderful Christmas gathering was made possible with the great support of the Humanitarian Organization Lifeline, whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine, based in Chicago, which represents the main driving force behind these receptions.

 

The event was also generously supported by numerous donors, including the Embassy of Finland and the Embassy of Greece; companies such as Coca-Cola HBC, Jaffa Crvenka, Balon Centar, Marbo Product d.o.o., Atlantic Štark, and Click for Serbia; business associations including AmCham, the British–Serbian Chamber of Commerce, and the Hellenic Business Association of Serbia.

Изборна скупштина Удружења Краљевина Србија, организације која промовише обнављање уставне парламентарне монархије у Србији, а која је под покровитељством Њ.К.В. Престолонаследника Александра, организована је данас у Краљевском двору. Свечани део је одржан у присуству Њ.К.В. Престолонаследника Александра и Њ.К.В. Принца Наследника Филипа, а скупштини су присуствовали делегати из свих делова Србије и Републике српске.

 

“Дубоко сам уверен да будућност припада младим људима и да ће новим генерацијама идеја обнове уставне парламентарне монарије бити много ближа, јер не носе терете предрасуда којима су биле изложене претходне генерације.

 

Као српски домаћин, желим свом потомству да оставим чврст темељ на коме ће наставити да гради и унапређује наш Дом, при том радујући се са својим потомцима, овде у Београду, свему што нам дани пред нама доносе. Мој син, Принц Наследник Филип, ће, када за то дође време, преузети од мене бригу за будућност нашег Дома, настављајући мој рад. Моја жеља је да му што више помогнем у припреми те одговорне дужности.

 

На том путу којим ће наставити, треба да му се нађе Удружење Краљевина Србија. Зато је потребно да предузмемо неопходне кораке како би стабилизовали и унапредили организацију удружења, подигли ефикасност и припремили се за време пред нама. Као и увек, још једном потврђујем своје чврсто уверење да је уставна парламентарна монархија изванредан систем државног уређења који може много допринети нашем друштву, а Удружење треба да буде водећа снага у постизању овог циља. Kако би његова улога била јасна и недвосмислена, Удружење мора да остане нестраначко, да буде изнад политичких странака и њиховог деловања. Само тако може да очува самосталност и посебност и да има подршку Kраљевског дома“, поручио је Престолонаследник у свом говору.

 

Свечани део скупа отворила је краљевска верзија химне Србије „Боже правде“, а овом делу скупа присуствовao је и г. Владан Живуловић, члан Крунског савета.У радном делу Скупштине, г. Саша Станисављевић је изабран за заступника „Удружења Краљевина Србија“ у наредном периоду, а функцију председника и даље обавља г. Милош Павковић.вина Србија“ у наредном периоду.

 

„Удружење Kраљевина Србија“ (KС) основала је група студената Београдског универзитета 2008. године, под првобитним називом „Kраљева омладина“. Удружење је основано као непрофитна, невладина и нестраначка организација, под покровитељством Њ.K.В. Престолонаследника Александра, са циљем обнове уставне парламентарне монархије у Србији. Та група младих људи, уверена да обнова уставне парламентарне монархије може да помогне Србији, успела је својим позитивним активностима да подстакне и младе и старе да им се придруже.

 

Због жеље многих старијих од 26 година да се придруже, „Kраљева омладина“ је од јануара 2010. наставила да делује као подмладак веће организације – „Удружења Kраљевина Србија“. Удружење је отворено за све, без обзира на политичку, националну или верску припадност.

 

У остваривању својих циљева „Удружење Kраљевина Србија“ одбацује недемократске и тоталитарне методе. Само позитивном кампањом, промотивним активностима и хуманитарним радом, Удружење промовише идеју уставне парламентарне монархије.

 

KINGDOM OF SERBIA ASSOCIATION HOLDS ELECTORAL ASSEMBLY AT THE ROYAL PALACE

 

The Electoral Assembly of the Kingdom of Serbia Association, NGO promoting the restoration of constitutional parliamentary monarchy in Serbia that is under the patronage of HRH Crown Prince Alexander, was held at the Royal Palace today. The solemn part was held in the presence of TRH Crown Prince Alexander and Hereditary Prince Philip, and the Assembly was attended by delegates from all parts of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska.

 

“I am deeply convinced that the future belongs to young people and that the idea of ​​restoring a constitutional parliamentary monarchy will be much closer to new generations, because they do not carry the burden of prejudices to which previous generations were exposed.

 

As a true Serbian “domaćin“ (Head of the Family who deeply cares for tradition and the future), I want to leave my descendants a solid foundation on which they will continue to build and improve the Karadjordjevic Royal House, looking forward with my descendants, here in Belgrade, to everything that the future brings to us. My son, Hereditary Prince Philip, will, when the time comes, take over from me the responsibility for the future of our Royal Home, continuing my work. It is my wish to help him as much as possible in preparing for this responsible duty.

 

On this path that he will continue, the Kingdom of Serbia Association should be there to assist him. That is why we need to take the necessary steps to stabilize and improve the organization of the association, increase its efficiency, and prepare for the time ahead. As always, I confirm my firm belief that constitutional parliamentary monarchy is a superb system, which can contribute our society very much, and the Association needs to be the leading strength in achieving this goal. In order for its role to be clear and unambiguous, the Association must remain non-partisan, above political parties and their actions. Only in this way can it preserve its independence and uniqueness and have the support of the Royal House”, said Crown Prince Alexander in his addressing.

 

The ceremonial part of the meeting was opened by the Royal version of the national anthem of Serbia “God of Justice”, and this part of the meeting was attended by Mr. Vladan Zivulovic, member of the Crown Council.In the working part of the Assembly, Mr. Sasa Stanisavljevic was elected to be the legal representative of the Kingdom of Serbia Association in the upcoming period, while Mr. Milos Pavkovic continue being the President.

 

The Kingdom of Serbia Association (KS) was founded by a group of Belgrade University students in 2008 and was first called King’s Youth. The association was established as a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-party organization, under the patronage of HRH Crown Prince Alexander, with the goal of restoring the constitutional parliamentary monarchy in Serbia. This group of young people, convinced that the restoration of constitutional monarchy can help Serbia, has managed with their positive activities to encourage both the younger and the older population to join them.

 

Because of the wish of many people older than 26 years to join them, since January 2010 King’s Youth as a brand continued to operate as a youth section of the greater organization – Kingdom of Serbia Association. The Association is open to everybody, regardless of their political, ethnic, or religious affiliation.

 

In achieving its objectives, the Kingdom of Serbia Association uses non-violent and democratic means and rejects undemocratic and totalitarian methods. Only by a positive campaign, promotional activities, and humanitarian work, the Association promotes constitutional parliamentary monarchy.

Краљевска породица Србије, предвођена Старешином дома  и домаћином, Њ.К.В. Престолонаследником Александром, свечано је данас у Краљевском двору у Београду, поштујући вековну традицију нашег народа, прославила крсну славу Карађорђевића – Светог Андреја Првозваног.

 

Њ.К.В. Принцеза Катарина, Њ.К.В. Принц Наследник Филип, Њ.К.В. Принцеза Даница, Њ.К.В. Принц Стефан, Њ.К.В. Принцеза Марија, Њ.К.В. Принц Александар, Њ.К.В. Принцеза Весна, Њ.К.В. Принц Михаило, Њ.К.В. Принцеза Љубица, Њ.К.В. Принцеза Наталија и Њ.К.В. Принцеза Исидра окупили су се са Престолонаследником  у дому Краљевске породице, како би заједно узнели молитве небеском заштитнику Карађорђевића.

 

Његова Светост Патријарх српски Г. Порфирије служио је Свету Литургију у Краљевској капели посвећеној Светом Андреју, уз саслужење Високопреподобног Архимандрита Герасима Хиламндарца и свештенства Архиепископије београдско-карловачке. Њ.К.В. Принц Стефан је као део богослужења очитао молитву Господњу „Оче наш“. Након Литургије, свечани чин сечења славског колача у Плавом салону Краљевског двора такође је обавио Његова Светост заједно са митрополитима и епископима Српске православне цркве.

 

ЊКВ Престолонаследник Александар захвалио се Његовој Светости и свим уваженим гостима у свом говору и такође истакао: „Као верни народ, ми прослављамо многе празнике, али мало који одражава наш национални идентитет тако дубоко као овај свети и свечани дан. Крсна слава је одувек једна од најдрагоценијих и најсветијих традиција српског народа. То је нит која нас је водила кроз векове, одржавајући нас у тешким временима. Она је неодвојиви део нашег бића, представља нашу везу са генерацијама пре нас и чувара онога што лежи пред нама.

 

У тешким тренуцима, склапамо руке у молитви, тражећи вођство и утеху нашег Небеског заштитника. У тренуцима радости, изражавамо му захвалност за благослове који су нам дати. А у сваком тренутку, молимо нашег Светитеља да буде са нама, те да нас стално подсећа да останемо скромни пред нашим Творцем. Свети апостол Андреј Првозвани је заштитник моје породице и њему упућујемо своје молитве, молећи га да подари свој благослов нашем дому, нашем народу и свим људима широм света. Издржаћемо свако искушење и остати верни и нашим прецима и нашим потомци, ако стојимо уједињени, и као народ и као деца Божја.“

 

Црквеној служби и ручку у Двору присуствовали су и Њихова Високопреосвештенства Митрополити Јован шумадијски, Игњатије браничевски и Јоаникије црногорско-приморски, као и Њихова Преосвештенства Епископи Исихије ваљевски и Јеротеј шабачки. Његова Еминенција Кардинал др Ладислав Немет, београдски надбискуп и метрополит, часни Ефендија Мустафа Јусуфспахић, београдски муфтија и војни имам, велечасни Робин Фокс, капелан англиканске цркве Свете Марије у Београду, Његова Екселенција Архиепископ задарски Желимир Пуљић, чланови Саветодавних тела Круне, родитељи Принцезе Данице, г-ђа Беба и г. Милан Циле Маринковић, и други пријатељи Краљевске породице су такође присуствовали прослави крсне славе Карађорђевића.

 

У својој беседи одржаној након сечења колача, Његова Светост Патријарх српски Порфирије је рекао: „Да Господ подари међусобно разумевање, јединство унутар дома вашега, јер ће то бити пример за углед свима нама, али и обавеза коју намећете свима нама. Јер имати Краљевску породицу је луксуз, и многи народи немају Краљевску породицу, а поготову је немају из свога рода.Па неки измишљају Краљевске лозе у својим народима, а неки би платили не зна се колико блага и богатства да је некако створе. Данас смо се сабрали да заједно са вама прославимо славу, да се заједно са вама радујемо и Богу молимо, да Бог да јединство, разумевање и слогу нашем роду.“

 

“На дан крсне славе нашег дома, Светог Андреја Првозваног, сабирамо се око завета који не припада само једној породици, већ памћењу једног народа. Свети Андреј, први међу позванима, сведочанство је вере која се не доказује речима, већ тихим и постојаним служењем.

 

За наш дом, Kрсна Слава није само породични обичај, већ завет да се одговорност прихвата пре привилегије, а дужност пре власти. Тај завет, утемељен у вери и стрпљењу, пратио је нашу историју у временима искушења и обавезује нас и данас. Свети Андреј нас учи да се прави пут не започиње буком, већ спремношћу да се служи другима и да се остане усправан онда када је то најтеже. На таквим темељима могу се градити слога, поверење и трајност једне државе.

 

Нека данашњи празник буде подсетник да се традиција не чува речима, већ делима, и да је служење другима највиши израз припадности и вере”, изјавио је ЊКВ Принц Наследник Филип поводом крсне славе Краљевске породице.

 

THE ROYAL FAMILY OF SERBIA CELEBRATES PATRON SAINT DAY

 

The Royal family of Serbia, led by HRH Crown Prince Alexander, solemnly celebrated today the Patron Saint Day of the Karadjordjevic Family – Saint Andrew the First-Called, in the Royal Palace in Belgrade, following centuries-old Serbian tradition.

 

Together with the Crown Prince, TRH Crown Princess Katherine, Hereditary Prince Philip, Princess Danica, Prince Stefan, Princess Marija, Prince Alexander, Princess Vesna, Prince Mihailo, Princess Ljubica, Princess Natalija, and Princes Isidora gathered in the home of the Royal family, to join their prayers to the heavenly protector of the Karadjordjevics.

 

His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia officiated the Holy Liturgy at the Royal Chapel dedicated to Saint Andrew, with the assistance of Very Reverend Archimandrite Gerasim of Hilandar, and Belgrade Archdiocese priests. HRH Prince Stefan said the Lord’s Prayer “Our Father” as part of the divine service. Following the Liturgy, the solemn act of cutting the Slava cake, a traditional bread prepared for the Patron Saint Day, at the Royal Palace’s Blue Salon was also officiated by His Holiness together with the Metropolitans and Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

 

HRH Crown Prince Alexander thanked His Holiness and all the esteemed guests in his speech and also pointed out: “As a people of faith, we celebrate many sacred days, yet few express our national identity as profoundly as this holy and solemn occasion. The Patron Saint Day has long stood as one of the most cherished and sacred traditions of the Serbian people. It is the thread that has carried us through the centuries, sustaining us in times of hardships. It forms an inseparable part of our essence — our link to the generations before us, and a guardian of what lies ahead.

 

In difficult moments, we join our hands in prayer, seeking our Heavenly Protector’s guidance and comfort. In moments of joy, we offer gratitude for the blessings granted to us. And at all times, we ask our Saint to be with us, reminding us to remain humble before our Creator. The Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called is the Patron Saint of my family, and to him we direct our prayers, asking that he bestow his blessing upon our home, our people, and all people throughout the world. We will withstand every trial and remain faithful to both our ancestors and our descendants, if we stand united, both as a nation and as children of God.”

 

The church ceremony and a lunch at the Palace were also attended by Their Eminences Metropolitans Jovan of Sumadija, Ignjatije of Branicevo, and Joanikie of Litoral and Montenegro, and Their Graces Bishops Isihije of Valjevo and Jerotej of Sabac. Present were also His Eminence Cardinal Dr Ladislav Nemet, Metropolitan and Archbishop of Belgrade, Honorable Efendi Mustafa Jusufspahic, Belgrade’s mufti and military imam, Rev. Robin Fox, the Chaplain of the Anglican Church of St. Mary in Belgrade, His Grace Archbishop of Zadar, Mr Zelimir Puljic, members of the Advisory Bodies of the Crown, Princess Danica’s parents Beba and Milan Cile Marinkovic, and other friends of the Royal Family were present at the celebration of the Royal Patron Saint Day.

 

In the traditional sermon held after the cutting of the Slava bread, His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije said: “May the Lord grant understanding and unity within your home, because it will be an example for all of us to look upon, but also an obligation that you impose on all of us. Because having a Royal Family is a luxury, and many nations do not have a Royal Family, and especially do not have one from their own people. So some invent Royal Lineaes in their nations, and some would pay who knows how much treasure and wealth to somehow create one. Today we have gathered to celebrate your Patron Saint Day with you, to rejoice with you and pray to God, that God may grant unity, understanding and harmony to our people.”

 

“On the day of the Patron Saint of our home, Saint Andrew the First-Called, we gather around a vow that does not belong to just one family, but to the memory of a people. Saint Andrew, the first among those who were called, is a testimony to a faith that is not proven by words, but by silent and constant service.

 

For our home, the Patron Saint Day is not just a family custom, but a vow to accept responsibility before privilege, and duty before power. This vow, founded on faith and patience, has accompanied our history in times of trial and obliges us today. Saint Andrew teaches us that the right path does not begin with noise, but with the willingness to serve others and to remain upright when it is most difficult. On such foundations can be built the harmony, trust, and durability of a state.

 

May today’s holiday be a reminder that tradition is not preserved in words, but in deeds, and that serving others is the highest expression of belonging and faith”, stated HRH Hereditary Prince Filip on the occasion of the Patron Saint Day of the Royal family.
