Njegovo Kraljevsko Visočanstvo Prestolonaslednik Aleksandar svečano je otvorio izložbu fotografija „Kralj Petar II u Slovenačkim Alpima“ na Belom dvoru. Postavka obuhvata fotografije Kralja Petra II koje govore o njegovom osvajanju Triglava u leto 1939. godine kao i o njegovim redovnim boravcima u Slovenačkim Alpima tokom detinjstva i mladosti.

„Srećan sam što je ova izložba postavljena u saradnji sa Ljudskim muzejom iz Slovenije i gospodinom Nanijem Poljanecom. Moj otac, kralj Petar, veoma je voleo da boravi u Sloveniji. Voleo je planinarenje i 1939. godine popeo se na vrh Triglava, najviše planine u Kraljevini Jugoslaviji. Nadam se da će ova izuzetna izložba dodatno osvetliti period mladosti poslednjeg kralja Jugoslavije, kao i život u Jugoslaviji pred Drugi svetski rat. Poštujući našu istoriju, danas se okrećemo budućnosti, sa nadom da ćemo sa slovenačkim narodom uspostaviti prijateljstvo koje je prema njemu osećao moj otac, Kralj Petar II“, rekao je Prestolonaslednik Aleksandar u uvodnom obraćanju.

Autori izložbe su Nani Poljanec i dr Peter Mikša, a organizator Ljudski muzej Rogaška Slatina zajedno sa Fondom Kraljevski dvor. Svečanom otvaranju prisustvovali su predstavnici diplomatskog kora i savetodavnih tela Krune, kao i brojne druge ugledne ličnosti iz sveta umetnosti i kulture.

„Jedna od najmlađih zbirki Ljudskog muzeja u Rogaškoj Slatini je upravo ‘Kraljeva kolekcija’ koja poseduje izvanrednu kolekciju originalnih fotografija, umetničkih slika, pisama i drugih dokumenata, tekstila i drugog materijala. Ovako koncipirana, zbirka predstavlja jednu od većih kolekcija posvećenih kraljevskoj porodici Karađorđević i periodu njene vladavine od 1903. do 1945. godine. Nani Poljanec nije usamljeni Slovenac koji poštuje Kraljevinu SHS i Jugoslaviju, kao prvu državu u savremenoj istoriji u kojoj su Slovenci bili konstitutivni narod, niti je jedini pokretač privatnog muzeja u Sloveniji, koji u svojim zbirkama ima predmete vezane za dinastiju Karađorđević. Ipak, Nani Poljanec uvek ide korak dalje od svih drugih koje ste imali prilike da upoznate“, rekao je Dušan Babac, član Krunskog veća.

Materijal za izložbu uključuje brojne zanimljive predmete među kojima su oznaka Dobrom smučaru, značka Sokolskog sleta u Beogradu I stepena, koju je nosio Kralj Petar II i još samo nekoliko najviših predstavnika Sokolstva u Jugoslaviji, različite značke Jugoslovenskog Zimskog Sportskog Saveza, razne sokolske značke, Orjuna, Sokolski slet 1934 u Zagrebu, Crveni Krst, Planica, Jadranska Straža. U okviru izloženih predmeta, nalaze se i fotografije iz lične arhive dr Ljubomira Kostića, ličnog prijatelja Kralja Petra II iz mladosti.

Izložba će biti otvorena za javnost od 14. do 22. decembra, radnim danima, u terminima posete od 11 i od 14 časova, uz prethodnu najavu kancelariji Nj.K.V. Prestolonaslednika Aleksandra.

EXHIBITION “KING PETER II IN SLOVENIAN ALPS” OPENS

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander officially opened an exhibition of photographs “King Peter II in the Slovenian Alps” at the White Palace. The exhibits include the photographs of King Peter II, which tell the story about his conquest of Triglav Mountain in the summer of 1939, as well as about his regular stays in the Slovenian Alps during his childhood and youth.

“I am very glad that this exhibition has been organized in cooperation with the People’s Museum from Slovenia and Mr. Nani Poljanec. My father, King Peter, very much liked to spend his time in Slovenia. He loved mountain climbing and in 1939 he climbed Triglav, the highest mountain in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. I hope that this excellent exhibition will further illuminate the period of youth of the last king of Yugoslavia, as well as the life in Yugoslavia before the Second World War. Respecting our history, we turn to the future today, hoping to establish friendship with the Slovenian people like the one my father, King peter II cherished”, said Crown Prince Alexander in his introductory address.

The authors of the exhibition are Nani Poljanec and Peter Miksa, and the organizer is the People’s Museum Rogaska Slatina together with the Royal Palace Fund. The opening ceremony was attended by the representatives of the diplomatic corps and advisory bodies of the Crown, as well as many other prominent figures from the world of art and culture.

“One of the youngest collections of the People’s Museum in Rogaska Slatina is the Royal Collection, an extraordinary collection of original photographs, paintings, letters and other documents, textiles and other materials. It is one of the largest collections dedicated to the Royal Family Karadjordjevic and the period of its reign from 1903 to 1945. Nani Poljanec is not just a Slovenian who respects the Kingdom of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes and Yugoslavia, as the first state in contemporary history in which the Slovenians were a constituent people, nor is he the sole initiator of a private museum in Slovenia, which has items related to the Karadjordjevic dynasty in its collections. Nevertheless, Nani Poljanec is always a step ahead from all the others that you had the opportunity to meet”, said Dusan Babac, a member of the Privy Council.

The material for the exhibition includes a number of interesting items, among which are the badge of the Good Skier, the badge of the Sokol Gathering in Belgrade I degree, carried by King Peter II and only a few of the highest representatives of the Sokol Federation in Yugoslavia, various badges of the Yugoslav Winter Sports Association, various Sokol badges, Orjuna, Sokols Gathering 1934 in Zagreb, Red Cross, Planica, Adriatic Coast Guard. Within the exhibited items, there are photographs from the personal archive of the late Dr. Ljubomir Kostic, personal friend of King Peter II from his youth.

The exhibition will be open to the public from December 14th to December 22nd, during working days, at 11:00 am and at 2:00 pm, with prior announcement to the office of HRH Crown Prince Alexander.

Његово Краљевско Височанство Престолонаследник Александар присуствовао је комеморацији поводом Дана  сећања на Ратном гробљу Комонвелта у Београду, где је положио венац заједно са другим високим званичницима.

Венце у знак сећања на оне који су изгубили животе у Великом рату положили су представници Министарства рада, запошљавања, ратних ветерана и социјалне политике и Министарства одбране, Града Београда, амбасадори Аустралије, Велике Британије, Канаде, Индије, Кипра, Нигерије, Пољске, Чешке Републике, Француске, Малезије, као и представници више удружења.

Земље Комонвелта биле су савезници Србије у Првом светском рату и много су помогле Србији и српском народу. Стотине лекара и медицинских сестара пружале су као добровољци помоћ Војсци Србије и српском народу у тим тешким временима. Неколико болница у Србији добило је имена по британским и шкотским лекарима и медицинским сестрама након рата.

На Ратном гробљу Комонвелта налазе се посмртни остаци војника Комонвелта који су пренети са више од шездесет мањих гробаља и других локација широм бивше Југославије. Највећи број донет је са војног гробља у Милни и Краљевског морнаричког и лучког гробља на острву Вису, где се налазила војна база.

Међу сахрањенима на Ратном гробљу налазе се и пребегли ратни заробљеници из Италије и Грчке. Међу сахрањеним цивилима су један рударски техничар, професор енглеског језика, новински дописник, члан особља Британске амбасаде и дете другог члана особља амбасаде. Сви они су били су сахрањени или поново покопани на гробљу уз дозволу специјалне Комисије Комонвелта.

HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER LAYS WREATH AT COMMONWEALTH REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONY

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander attended the Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Commonwealth War cemetery in Belgrade, where he laid a wreath together with other dignitaries.

The representatives of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, War Veterans and Social Policy of Serbia and the Ministry of Defence of Serbia, City of Belgrade, and the ambassadors of Australia, United Kingdom, Canada, India, Cyprus, Nigeria, Poland, the Czech Republic, France, Malaysia, as well as the representatives of different associations, also laid the wreaths in memory of those who lost their lives.

The Commonwealth countries were allies of Serbia during the War and helped a lot Serbia and the Serbian people. There were hundreds of medical doctors and nurses who gave assistance as volunteers to the Serbian Army and Serbian people during these very difficult times. Several hospitals in Serbia were named after the British and Scottish doctors and nurses after the war.

The cemetery was created to receive the remains of British and Commonwealth casualties brought in from more than sixty small burial grounds and from isolated sites all over the former Yugoslavia. The largest number from any one place came from Milna Military Cemetery and the Royal Naval and Harbour Cemeteries on the island of Vis (Lissa) which was a base.

The burials in the War Cemetery include escaped prisoners of war from Italy and Greece. The civilians buried here include a mining technician, a teacher of English, a newspaper correspondent, a member of the British Embassy staff and the child of another member of Embassy staff. They were buried or re-buried in the cemetery by permission of the Commonwealth Graves Commission.

Њихова Краљевска Височанства Престолонаследник Александар и Принцеза Катарина придружили су се британској краљевској породици и њиховим блиским пријатељима синоћ у замку Виндзор, на прослави 70. годишњице венчања Њеног Величанства Краљице Елизабете II и Њ.К.В. Војводе од Единбурга.

У септембру 1945. године Његова Светост Патријарх Гаврило крстио је Престолонаследника Александра у Вестминстерској опатији, а кум и кума на крштењу били су Његово Величанство Краљ Џорџ VI и Њ.В. Краљица Елизабета II (тада Њ.К.В. Принцеза Елизабета). Престолонаследник Александар изузетно поштује Њено Величанство Краљицу Елизабету II и веома је поносан што је она његова кума. Њ.К.В. Војвода од Единбурга је близак рођак Краљице Александре, мајке Њ.К.В. Престолонаследника Александра.

Родитељи Престолонаследника Александра Њихова Величанства Краљ Петар II и Краљица Александра присуствовали су венчању Њеног Величанства Краљице Елизабете II и Њ.К.В. Принца Филипа, сада Њ.К.В. Војводе од Единбурга.

Синоћна вечера у величанственом замку Виндзор била је диван догађај, на ком је прослављена 70. годишњица брака, у кругу британске краљевске породице и њихових блиских пријатеља.

His Holiness Patriarch Gavrilo of Serbia baptized in September 1945 Crown Prince Alexander in Westminster Abbey with Godparents His Majesty King George VI and HM The Queen Elizabeth II (then HRH Princess Elizabeth). Crown Prince Alexander has much admiration for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and is very proud that she is his Godmother. HRH The Duke of Edinburgh is Crown Prince Alexander’s mother Queen Alexandra’s second cousin.

The parents of Crown Prince Alexander Their Majesties King Peter II and Queen Alexandra attended the marriage of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince Philip now HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.

Last night’s dinner at Windsor Castle was a wonderful event in magnificent Windsor Castle that celebrated 70 years of marriage surrounded by the British Royal Family and close friends.

Њено Краљевско Височанство Принцеза Катарина званично је испоручила електрокардиограф (ЕКГ) и пумпу за инфузију Институту за здравствену заштиту мајке и детета Србије „Др Вукан Чупић“ у Београду. Ова опрема вредна је 6.300 ЕУР, а средства је обезбедила хуманитарна организација Лајфлајн Велика Британија чији је покровитељ Њ.К.В. Принцеза Катарина.
„Драго ми је што сам поново овде с вама, поводом донације овог ЕКГ апарата и пумпе за инфузију за децу, који су неопходни за ваш рад. Ова донација је резултат хуманитарног рада који је организовала моја фондација Лајфлајн у Великој Британији. Мој супруг, Њ.К.В. Престолонаследник Александар и ја ћемо наставити да помажемо колико год можемо. Желим да се захвалим свим људима добре воље у иностранству који су нам помогли у реализацији ових пројеката. Надам се да ће овај уређај у многоме олакшати ваш рад. Још једном хвала свима и унапред се радујем нашем сусрету на божићним пријемиме за децу у Белом Двору, као и сваке године“, рекла је Њ.К.В. Принцеза Катарина.
Принцезу Катарину је дочекао доцент др Радоје Симић, директор Института за здравствену заштиту мајке и детета Србије „Др Вукан Чупић“, који јој је овом приликом захвалио на помоћи коју Институту пружа већ годинама. Током испоруке, Њ.К.В. Принцези Катарини придружила са госпођа Даниела Челиковић, велики добротвор хуманитарне организације Лајфлајн.
Фондација Њ.К.В. Принцезе Катарине недавно је остварила један од најуспешнијих периода од свог оснивања пре 25 година. У последњих неколико месеци, укупна вредност дониране нове медицинске опреме достигла је чак 1.731.000 долара. Највећи део ових средстава, 1,4 милиона долара, односи се на вредну стерилизациону опрему за болнице у Београду, Новом Саду и Краљеву, коју је Принцеза Катарина обезбедила у сарадњи са Пројектом Ц.У.Р.Е.
У јулу ове године Клинички центар Ниш добио је нови дигитални мамограф са вођеном биопсијом, вредан 300.000 долара, коју је у сарадњи са компанијом Хологиц обезбедила Фондација Принцезе Катарине. Том приликом, Принцеза је Центру за дечију хирургију и ортопедију у истом Клиничком центру испоручила пацијент-монитор у вредности од 10.000 долара, донацију хуманитарне организације Лајфлајн Њујорк. На почетку августа, Принцеза Катарина испоручила је два пацијент-монитора у вредности од 21.000 долара,  одељењу за дечију онкологију Клинике за неурохирургију Клиничког центра Србије.

CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE FOUNDATION AND LIFELINE UNITED KINGDOM DONATE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT WORTH 6,300 EUR TO INSTITUTE FOR MOTHER AND CHILD

Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine officially delivered an electrocardiography (ECG) machine and an infusion pump to the Institute for Health Protection of Mother and Child of Serbia “Dr. Vukan Cupic” in Belgrade. This valuable equipment is worth 6,300 EUR and these funds were provided by Lifeline United Kingdom Humanitarian Organization whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine.
“I am glad to be here with you again, on the occasion of a donation of this ECG machine and infusion pump for the children, which are much needed for your work. This donation is the result of humanitarian work organized by my Foundation Lifeline in the United Kingdom. My husband HRH Crown Prince Alexander and I will continue to help as much we can. I wish to thank all the people of good will abroad who have helped us in carrying out these projects. I hope that this machine will make your work much easier. Thank you all once again and I am looking forward to seeing you at Christmas for the children receptions at the White palace, like every year”, said HRH Crown Princess Katherine.
Doc Dr Radoje Simic, director of the Institute for Health Protection of Mother and Child of Serbia “Dr. Vukan Cupic” welcomed Princess Katherine and thanked her for her help to the Institute for years now. During this delivery, HRH Crown Princess Katherine was accompanied by Mrs. Daniela Celikovic, a great benefactor of the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization.
HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation recently has achieved one of the most successful periods since its founding, 25 years ago. In the last couple of months, the total amount of donated new medical equipment reached as much as $ 1,731,000. The largest part of these funds, $ 1.4 million, relates to valuable sterilization equipment for hospitals in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Kraljevo, which Crown Princess Katherine provided in cooperation with the Project C.U.R.E.
In July of this year, the Clinical Centre Nis received a new digital mammography machine with guided biopsy worth 300,000 dollars, which the Crown Princess Katherine Foundation provided in cooperation with the company Hologic. On that occasion, the Crown Princess also delivered a patient monitor worth $ 10,000 to the Children’s Surgery and Orthopaedics Clinic at the same Clinical Centre, a donation from Lifeline New York Humanitarian Organization. In early August, Crown Princess Katherine delivered two patient monitors worth $ 21,000 to the children’s oncology department of the Neurosurgery Clinic at the Clinical Centre of Serbia.

Њено Краљевско Височанство Принцеза Катарина званично је отворила реновирану Психијатријску болницу Ковин, након три месеца рада и донације у износу од 90.000 долара, коју је обезбедила хуманитарна организација Лајфлајн Чикаго, чији је покровитељ Њ.К.В. Принцеза Катарина. Спонзор овог вредног пројекта била је фондација Џон и Милдред Медић Вученић, чија је породица један од највећих индивидуалних донатора организације Лајфлајн Чикаго.

Поред осталих поправки, реновирана су 4 купатила, а улазна врата и 38 прозора замењени су новим, у приземљу и на спрату болнице.

„Повод за моју данашњу посету је велика донација у вредности од 90.000 долара, захваљујући којој су реновирана купатила у болници и купљена нова врата и прозори. Донација је обезбеђена преко организације Лајфлајн Чикаго, чији сам покровитељ, а добијена је од Фондације породице Вученић из Сједињених Америчких Држава. Ово је трећи пут да породица Вученић помаже нашим болницама кроз свој фонд. Срећна сам јер ћемо кроз ову донацију учинити лекарима њихов посао мало лакшим, а пацијентима свакако боравак у болници пријатнијим. Мој супруг Њ.К.В. Престолонаследник Александар и ја ћемо наставити да помажемо истим темпом. Желим да кажем да без наших пријатеља и људи из дијаспоре ова донација не би била могућа. Зато им искрено захваљујем на помоћи коју су пружили“, рекла је Њ.К.В. Принцеза Катарина.

Свих 6 чланова породице Вученић посетило је Ковин у јуну 2017. године током боравка мисије Лајфлајн Чикага у Србији.

„Купатила одражавају поштовање према пацијентима. Наша фондација има привилегију да допринесе основним потребама наших ближњих. Лајфлајн Чикаго посвећен је помагању  људима који су иначе невидљиви за многе, и то је отеловљење начела из Јеванђеља“, рекла је госпођа Данијела Вученић после посете Ковину.

Др Александра Гавриловић, директорка Психијатријске болнице Ковин топло је захвалила Њ.К.В. Принцези Катарини, Лајфлајну Чикаго и Фондацији Џона и Милдред Медић Вученић на њиховој великој помоћи.

HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE FOUNDATION AND LIFELINE CHICAGO REFURBISHED PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL KOVIN

Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine officially opened the reconstructed Psychiatric hospital Kovin, after the three months works and donation of US $90,000 which were provided by Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine. The sponsor of this valuable project was The John and Mildred Medic Wuchenich Foundation, whose families are one of the biggest individual donors to Lifeline Chicago.

Besides other reparations, 4 bathrooms were refurbished and 38 windows and entrance doors were replaced with new ones, on the ground floor and the first floor of the hospital.

“The occasion for my today’s visit is a great donation, in the value of 90,000 dollars, thanks to which the hospitals’ bathrooms were reconstructed and new doors and windows were purchased. The donation has been provided through the Lifeline Chicago office, whose patron I am, and provided as a grant from the Foundation of family Wuchenich from the United States of America. This is the third time that the Wuchenich family is helping our hospitals, through their fund. I am happy because through this donation we will make your work a little easier, and the patients’ stay in hospital a lot more comfortable. My husband HRH Crown Prince Alexander and I will continue to help at the same pace. I would like to say that without our friends and people from the diaspora this donation would not be possible. All 6 family members of Wuchenich foundation visited Kovin on the June 2017 during the Lifeline Chicago mission trip to Serbia.

“The bathrooms reflected respect for the patients. Our foundation is privileged to contribute to the basic needs of our neighbours.  Lifeline Chicago’s commitment to people who are otherwise invisible to many, is the Gospel in work clothes”, said Mrs. Danielle Wuchenich after visiting Kovin.

Dr. Aleksandra Gavrilovic, the director of the Psychiatric hospital Kovin warmly thanked HRH Crown Princess Katherine, Lifeline Chicago and The John and Mildred Medic Wuchenich Foundation for their great help.

СРЕЋАН РОЂЕНДАН ВАШЕ КРАЉЕВСКО ВИСОЧАНСТВО

Инђија је на свечани начин обележила Дан Ослобођења града у Првом Светском рату.

У организацији Општине Инђија и Удружења Краљевина Србија, у уторак, 8.новембра, Инђија је на свечани начин обележила Дан Ослобођења града у Првом Светском рату.
Програм је почео у подне, у парку Краљице Марије, извођењем државне химне Боже правде у извођењу г-ђе Јоване Миљуш Грбић , потом су свештеници Српске православне цркве служили помен потпоручнику Јулију Вапи а затим су положени венци на споменик Краљу Петру Првом Великом Ослободиоцу,
Први венац у име града је положио председник општине Инђија господин Владимир Гак, потом су венце положили: у име Војске Србије пуковник Петковић , у име Удружења Краљевина Србија г.Предраг Меденица а венац су положиле и делегације Савеза потомака ратника и Субнора.
Свечаност је настављена у Културном центру Свечаном Академијом под називом ''У ЧАСТ СЛАВНИХ ПРЕДАКА'', на којој су наступили Градски хор и Културно уметничко друштво СОКО а изведена је и представа ''ВРЕМЕ ЧАСТИ И ПОНОСА'' београдског драмског позоришта.
Присутне су својим говором поздравили г.Владимир Гак, испред Општине Инђија, г-ђа Александра Андрејевић Миљановић, испред Удружења Краљевина Србија док је г-ђа Јована Миљуш Грбић прочитала поздравно писмо Његовог Краљевског Величанства Престолонаследника Александра упућено грађанима Инђије поводом Дана ослобођења.
На крају је за званице приређен коктел у Кафеу Културног центра.
