Њихова Краљевска Височанства Престолонаследник Александар и Принцеза Катарина били су домаћини седамнаесту годину за редом традиционалном пријему за више од 600 најбољих матураната из Србије и Републике Српске, на Белом двору на Дедињу.

Свака средња школа у Србији и Републици Српској изабрала је ђака генерације међу матурантима, коме је Фондација Престолонаследника Александра за културу и образовање уручила похвалницу и пригодан поклон као признање за остварене изузетне резултате у школовању.

„Свим матурантима честитам на успеху и желим да наставите да будете најбољи. Ви треба да будете поносни на знања која сте стекли, а ми смо поносни на вас и ваша достигнућа. Наставите да вредно радите и учите читавог живота. Ви сте наша будућност, а наша будућност је светла!” рекао је Престолонаследник Александар у свом обраћању.

Његово Краљевско Височанство Престолонаследник Александар захвалио је на великој помоћи партнерима на овом пројекту – компанијама НЦР и ЛИНК Груп. Помоћ при организацији догађаја пружили су саобраћајна полиција и Војномедицинска академија, компанија Кока-Кола, хор Ирида из Сремске Митровице, волонтери удружења „Краљевина Србија” и студенти Факултета организационих наука Универзитета у Београду.

Свечаности су присуствовали и Њ.Е. г-дин Младен Шарчевић, министар просвете, науке и технолошког развоја, Њ. Е. др Дане Малешевић, министар просвете и културе Републике Српске, г-дин Стефан Лазаревић, генерални директор компаније НЦР, г-дин Никола Суботић, извршни директор компаније ЛИНК Груп, др Кристофер Турбер, психолог и инструктор на Филипс Егзетер Академији у Њу Хампширу и ко-оснивач веб сајта ExpertOnlineTraining.com, г-дин Кристоф Бишиља, оснивач компаније Cloudera, академик Матија Бећковић, као и бројне друге личности из света културе, уметности и науке.

Ђаци су уживали у мотивационим говорима успешних пословних људи др Кристофера Турбера и г-дина Кристофа Бишиље, а додатне мотивационе радионице др Турбера заказане су за сутра од 11 часова на Белом двору.

Најбоље матуранте свих средњих школа из Србије и Републике Српске обрадовала је вест да ће компанија Линк Груп поделити 25 стипендија за њихову престижну ИТ Академију. Рок за пријаву је 15. јул, а више информација о условима за добијање стипендије могу се наћи на линку https://www.it-akademija.com/akcija/itacademy-stipendije/. Имена добитника стипендија биће објављена 1. августа, а стипендије ће им бити уручене на свечаности на Белом двору у септембру.

CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER AWARDS BEST HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES FROM SERBIA AND REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Aleksandar and Crown Princess Katherine hosted, for the seventeenth consecutive year, the traditional reception for more than 600 best high school students from Serbia and the Republic of Srpska, at the White Palace in Dedinje.

Every secondary school in Serbia and the Republic of Srpska selects a valedictorian among the graduates, to whom the Foundation for Education and Culture of HRH Crown Prince Alexander awards a commendation and appropriate gift in recognition of the exceptional results achieved in high school.

“I would like to congratulate all the graduates on the great success and I wish them to continue to be successful. You should be proud of the knowledge you acquired, and we are proud of you and your achievements. Continue to be so hard-working and learn your entire life. You are our future and our future is bright”, said the Crown Prince in his speech.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander thanked for the great help the partners in this project – companies NCR and Link Group. Help with the organization of the event was provided by the traffic police and the Military Medical Academy, Coca-Cola company, choir Irida from Sremska Mitrovica, volunteers from “Kingdom of Serbia” Association and students of Faculty of Organizational Science of Belgrade University.

The ceremony was attended by HE Mr. Mladen Sarcevic, Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, HE Dane Malešević, Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Stefan Lazarevic, General Manager of NCR Serbia, Mr. Nikola Subotic, Executive Manager of Link Group, Dr. Christopher Thurber, psychologist and instructor at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire and co-founder of ExpertOnlineTraining.com website, Mr. Christophe Bisciglia, Founder of Cloudera, academician Matija Beckovic, member of the Crown Council, as well as numerous other personalities from the world of culture, art and science.

Scholars enjoyed the motivational speech delivered by Dr. Christopher Thurber and Mr. Christophe Bisciglia’s testimony of success and great experience he has, and additional workshops by Dr. Thurber are scheduled for the next day at the White Palace as well.

The best graduated students of all highschools in Serbia and the Republic of Srpska were glad to receive the news that the company Link Group will grant 25 scholarships for their prestigious ITA Academy. There will be announcement of the names of winners of scholarships on 1 August and the winning ceremony is going to be held in September at the White Palace.

Њихова Краљевска Височанства Престолонаследник Александар и Принцеза Катарина присуствовали су данас светој Литургији коју је служио Његова Светост Патријарх српски Г. Иринеј у цркви Лазарици у Крушевцу, као и полагању венаца и помену код споменика косовским херојима у центру града. Краљевски Пар је такође присуствовао откривању новог споменика кнегињи Милици, а затим су обишли школу за основно и средње образовање “Веселин Николић” где су званично уручили нови лифт за децу са инвалидитетом и школски намештај, донацију Имања сестре Ане вредну више од 17.000 евра и играчке.

Државној церемонији поводом Видовдана присуствовали су и госпођа Јасмина Палуровић, градоначелник Крушевца и господин Братислав Гашић, директор Безбедносно – информативне агенције (БИА).

“Драго ми је што смо данас са вама у Крушевцу на Видовдан и што имамо прилику да уручимо лифт за који верујем да ће вам олакшати свакодневицу. Ову вредну донацију у износу већем од 17.000 евра обезбедили су Лајфлајн организација из Чикага чији сам ја покровитељ као и Имање сестре Ане и ја им овом приликом захваљујем. Мој супруг Престолонаследник Александар и ја наставићемо да помажемо колико год можемо”, рекла је Њ.К.В. Принцеза Катарина.

Њ.К.В. Престолонаследник Александар је рекао да је Видовдан један од највећих српских празника и најважнијих датума у српској историји, и додао да га славимо као симбол наше духовности, као празник наде и вере у боље сутра.

Њихова Краљевска Височанства се захваљују хуманитарној организацији Лајфлајн Чикаго која ради под покровитељством Њ.К.В. Принцезе Катарине, као и компанијама Лавиринт, Џамбо и Евро Бук за помоћ при набавци играчака за децу у Крушевцу.

ROYAL COUPLE ATTEND VIDOVDAN IN KRUSEVAC

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine attended today a Holy Liturgy officiated by His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Irinej at Lazarica church in Krusevac, as well as a wreath laying ceremony and memorial service at the monument for the Kosovo heroes in the city center. The Royal couple also attended a ceremony of presenting a new monument of Kneginja Milica, after which they officially delivered lift platform for students with disabilities and school furniture, donation of Sister Anne Estate worth more than € 17,000 and toys for children, at Primary and secondary school “Veselin Nikolic” in Krusevac.

The state ceremony on the occasion of Vidovdan was also attended by Mrs Jasmina Palurovic, Mayor of Krusevac and Mr Bratislav Gasic, director of Security Information Agency (BIA).

“I am pleased to be with you today in Krusevac on Vidovdan and also for having the opportunity to deliver an elevator for which I believe it will make your life easier. This valuable donation worth more than € 17,000 was provided by the Lifeline organization from Chicago, whose patron I am, as well as by the Sister Anne Estate, and I want to use this opportunity to thank them. My husband Crown Prince Alexander and I will continue to help as much as we can “, said HRH Crown Princess Katherine.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander said that Vidovdan is one of the greatest Serbian holidays and one of the most important dates in our history and added that we are celebrating it as a symbol of our nation’s spirit, as a jubilation of hope and faith for a better tomorrow.

Their Royal Highnesses thank Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine, as well as the companies Labyrinth, Jumbo and Evro Book for their help in collecting toys for children from Krusevac.

Њихова Краљевска Височанства Престолонаследник Александар и Принцеза Катарина званично су отворили девету „Конференцију српске медицинске дијаспоре“ у хотелу Хајат у Београду. Овогодишњој Конференцији присуствоваће више од 600 домаћих лекара, као и више од 70 лекара из иностранства, из више од 20 земаља.

Дводневна „Конференција српске медицинске дијаспоре“ одржава се под покровитељством Њихових Краљевских Височанства Престолонаследника Александра и Принцезе Катарине, а у организацији Фондације Њ.К.В Принцезе Катарине и хуманитарне организације Лајфлајн, уз подршку Министарства здравља, Министарства спољних послова, Лекарске коморе Србије, Медицинског факултета Универзитета у Београду и Светске здравствене организације.

Њ.К.В. Престолонасленик Александар поздравио је све присутне и захвалио им на томе што пружају подршку традиционалној конференцији у организацији Принцезе Катарине и њене Фондације. Званичном отварању су присуствовали проф. Владимир Ђукић, државни секретар Министарства здравља, др Милан Динић, директор Лекарске коморе Србије, проф. др Тања Јовановић, продекан Медицинског факултета у Београду, Њ.Е. г-дин Кајл Скот, амбасадор САД у Србији, представници медицинских одбора хуманитарне организације Лајфлајн, чланови Краљевског медицинског борда, као и бројни предавачи и учесници из Србије и иностранства.

„Ова девета по реду Конференција српске медицинске дијаспоре је јако важна као мост којим се преносе знања и искуства из дијаспоре у Србију. Хвала нашим партнерима који нам сваке године помажу у организацији ове конференцијем без ваше помоћи, ово не би било могуће. Драго ми је да сваке године видим све више и више лекара из Србије који учествују на овој конференцији, надам се да ћете искуство стечено моћи да пренесете својим колегама и помогнете пацијентима. Мој супруг Престолонаследник Александар и ја радимо пуно да би помогли наше болнице и здравствени систем. Настављамо да помажемо наше болнице, домове за незбринуту децу, домове за старе и школе. Желим вам успешан рад и најављујем следећу конференцију за 22. јун 2019”, рекла је Принцеза Катарина.

Девета „Конференција српске медицинске дијаспоре“ покрива широко подручје медицинских наука, из различитих области медицине, са фокусом на области гинекологије, спортске медицине, рака плућа, генетике, гојазности и дијабетеса, аутизма, кардиологије и старења „Можемо ли нешто урадити на време?“. Предавачи и модератори су најистакнутији медицински стручњаци из Србије и иностранства – из Рочестера, Бирмингема, Вурцбурга, Блумингтона, Њујорка, Љубљане и тако даље.

Циљ Конференције која се одржава већ годинама, унапређење је сарадње између наших лекара и експерата на пољу медицинских наука из дијаспоре са институцијама и појединцима који представљају стубове квалитета здравствене заштите у Србији, као и умрежавање српских интелектуалних вредности у области здравства у Републици Србији са српском академском заједницом у дијаспори.

9TH SERBIAN DIASPORA MEDICAL CONFERENCE OFFICIALLY OPENED

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine officially opened the 9th Serbian Diaspora Medical Conference at the Hyatt Hotel in Belgrade. This year’s Conference is being attended by more than 600 domestic doctors and more than 70 from 20 countries.

The two-day Conference is being held under the auspices of Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine, organized by the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine and Lifeline Humanitarian Organization, with the support of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Medical Chamber of Serbia, University of Belgrade Faculty of Medicine and the World Health Organization.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander greeted all present and thanked them for a great help and support to the traditional conference organized by Crown Princess Katherine and her Foundation. The official opening was attended by Prof. Vladimir Djukic, State Secretary of Ministry of Health, Dr. Milan Dinic, Director of the Medical Chamber of Serbia, Prof. Dr. Tanja Jovanovic, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, HE Mr. Kyle Scott, US Ambassador to Serbia, members of the Royal Medical Board, as well as numerous lecturers and participants from Serbia and abroad.

“This ninth conference is very important since it is a bridge for the transfer of knowledge and experience from dialogue in Serbia. I’m very glad that I see so many participants here today and I would like to thank all our partners who are helping us for all these years, hospitals abroad and of course my Foundation which I’m very proud of since just from the beginning of this year we delivered help to numerous institutions in the amount more than two million euros. My husband HRH Crown Prince Alexander and I will keep working in helping our hospitals and the health system. I hope to see you all next year for the jubilee of the Serbian Diaspora Medical Conference on 22 June 2019, said HRH Crown Princess Katherine in her speech.

The ninth “Serbian Diaspora Medical Conference” covers a wide range of fields of medicine, focusing on gynecology, lung cancer, genetics, obesity and diabetes, autism, cardiology and aging “Can we do something on time?”. The lecturers and moderators are the most prominent medical experts from Serbia and abroad – Rochester, Birmingham, Wurzburg, Bloomington, New York, Ljubljana etc.

The goal of the Conference is to improve cooperation between our doctors and experts in the field of medical science from the Diaspora with institutions and individuals that represent the pillars of quality of healthcare in Serbia, as well as networking the experts in the field of health care in the Republic of Serbia with the Serbian academic community in the diaspora.

Ovo je godina u kojoj humanitarna organizacija Lajflajn iz Čikaga, Sjedinjene Američke Države, obeležava 25. godišnjicu i tim povodom organizovan je konkurs za izradu njihovog novog logotipa. Učesnici su bili deca iz domova za decu bez roditeljskog staranja, kao i deca iz svih institucija kojima pomaže Fondacija Nj.K.V. Princeze Katarine.

Ceremonija povodom proglašenja pobednika održana je u Kraljevskom dvoru na Dedinju u prisustvu Njihovih Kraljevskih Visočanstava Prestolonaslednika Aleksandra i Princeze Katarine, Njegove Ekselencije Kajla Skota, ambasadora SAD u Srbiji, dr Milene Tatić Bajić, predsednice Lajflajn Čikago, g-đe Sonje Ogrizović, sekretara i g-đe Melani Sever, blagajnika Lajflajn Čikago.

Pobednički logo osmislio je Mihail Tusunović iz dečijeg doma „Hristina Markišić“ iz Aleksinca. Pobednik, kao i još dvoje finalista – Suzana Mega, Prihvatilište za decu Beograd i Stefan Bajić, OŠ „Gavrilo Princip“ iz Beograda, nagrađeni su diplomama i novčanim nagradama.

„Srbi iz Amerike pomažu naše bolnice, sigurne kuće, domove za decu bez roditelja, stare ljude, decu, i to svake godine! Samo za Božić i Uskrs oni svakom detetu pošalju posebnu kesu sa poklonima i odećom i obućom u pravom broju. Samo ove godine oni su dali Srbiji više od 200.000 dolara pomoći. Ponosna sam da budem pokrovitelj ovom humanitarnom cilju i volela bih da vam zahvalim na svemu što ste uradili za Srbiju i da naglasim koliko je važna dijaspora kada je u pitanju humanitarni rad. Zato hvala Čikago, hvala što niste zaboravili svoj narod. Hvala i deci što niste zaboravili da one koji vas vole. Neka uz novi logo dođe i mnogo sreće, ljubavi i novih projekata za Srbiju“, rekla je Princeza Katarina.

Čikaška kancelarija humanitarne organizacije Lajflajn podržava rad Nj.K.V. Princeze Katarine i pomaže Srbiji već 25 godina. Lajflajn je osnovala Princeza Katarina, kako bi pružila neophodnu humanitarnu pomoć najugroženijim ljudima u Srbiji. Cilj Lajflajn Čikago organizacije je smanjiti i ublažiti patnju fizički i mentalno ometene dece, siročadi, starijih osoba, kao i poboljšati uslove u zdravstvenim ustanovama u zemlji. Upravni odbor humanitarne organizacije Lajflajn Čikago služi kao upravno telo misije i operacija organizacije. Svaki član odbora preuzima odgovornost da inicira i uspostavlja politike kojima upravlja Organizacija i da održava povereničku odgovornost u vezi sa finansijskim poslovima Organizacije.

LIFELINE CHICAGO IS MARKING 25TH ANNIVERSARY WITH NEW LOGO

This is the year when Lifeline humanitarian organization from Chicago, United States of America, is marking 25th anniversary and on that occassion the design contest for their new logo has been organized. The participants were the children from homes for the children without parental care, as well as the children from all the institutions that were being helped by HRH Crown Princess Katherine’s Foundation.

The winning ceremony was held at the Royal Palace in Dedinje in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine, His Excellency Mr. Kyle Scott, US Ambassador to Serbia, Dr. Milena Tatic Bajich, the President of Lifeline Chicago, Mrs. Sonja Ogrizovich, secretary and Mrs. Melanie Sever, treasurer of Lifeline Chicago.

The winning logo was made by Mihail Tusunovic from children’s home “Hristina Markisic“ from Aleksinac. The winner, as well as the two more finalists Suzana Mega, The Belgrade Children’s Shelter and Stefan Bajic, Elementary school “Gavrilo Princip“ from Belgrade have been rewarded with diplomas and money awards.

„Serbs from America are helping our hospitals, safe houses, homes for children without parents, homes for elderly, children, and they do that every year! For Christmas and Easter they make special bags for each orphan with their name, toys, and clothes and shoes in their size. Only in this year they donated help to Serbia worth more than 200,000 dollars. I am very glad that we are here announcing the winning logo of Lifeline Chicago organization. I must say it is beautiful and that it was very hard to choose just one! The logo was made by the ones who are the most important to us – the children. This children are very familiar with the work of Lifeline Chicago. This organization whose patron I am, is helping Serbia, especially children, for 25 years already. I’m very proud to be a patron to this humanitarian cause and I would like to thank them for everything they did for Serbia and to emphasize how important diaspora is when it comes to humanitarian work“, said HRH Crown Princess Katherine.

The Chicago Office of Lifeline Humanitarian Organization supports the work of HRH Crown Princess Katherine and helps Serbia for 25 years. Lifeline was founded by Princess Katherine in order to provide critically needed humanitarian aid to the neediest people of Serbia. Lifeline Chicago’s goal is to reduce and relieve the suffering of physically and mentally disabled children, orphans, the elderly as well as to improve medical facilities in the country. The Board of Directors of the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization Chicago serves as the governing body of the organization’s mission and operations. Each member of the board assumes the responsibility to initiate and establish the policies governing the Organization and to maintain a fiduciary responsibility over the financial affairs of the Organization.

Њихова Краљевска Височанства Престолонаследник Александар и Принцеза Катарина присуствовали су данас, на Вазнесење Господње – Спасовдан, славу града Београда, литургији у Вазнесењској цркви и учествовали у традиционалној Спасовданској литији улицама Београда.

Свету Литургију у Вазнесењској цркви служио је Његова Светост Патријарх српски Г. Иринеј, а поворка кроз Београд кренула је од цркве Вазнесења Господњег у улици Адмирала Гепрата, а затим је улицама Кнеза Милоша и Краља Милана дошла до чесме на Теразијама, у чијој близини је одржана прва молитва за добробит грађана Београда. Поворка је затим наставила Кнез Михаиловом и улицом Краља Петра, до Саборне цркве Светог Арханђела Михаила, где је одржана друга молитва за мир и напредак. Након тога, поворка је отишла у улицу Кнеза Симе Марковића, а завршила испред цркве Вазнесења, где је одржан помен у знак сећања на све пале јунаке Београда.

TRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER AND CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE TAKE PART IN BELGRADE “SPASOVDAN” PROCESSION

On the occasion of Ascension of Our Lord Day – Spasovdan, the City of Belgrade’s Slava, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine attended a Liturgy at the Church of the Ascension and took part in the traditional Spasovdan Procession through the streets of Belgrade.

The Divine Liturgy at the Church of Ascension was officiated by His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, and the procession through Belgrade started at the Church of Ascension in Admirala Geprata Street, then went to Kneza Milosa Street, Kralja Milana Street, followed by the first prayer for the wellbeing of the citizens of Belgrade near the Terazije Fountain. The procession then continued to Knez Mihailova Street and King Peter’s Street, to the Cathedral Church of St. Michael the Archangel, where the second prayer for peace and progress was said. After that, the procession went to Kneza Sime Markovica Street, and ended in front of the Church of Ascension where a church service was held in memory of all fallen heroes of Belgrade.
